Veszprem HC
Our pick Veszprem HC to win 1.20 Modest confidence

Veszprem HC are priced at 1.20 for the away win against FC Porto's 6.00, an implied gap of roughly 83% to 17% before margin, which is as wide as EHF Champions League group-stage pricing gets for a fixture of this type. We have no confirmed team news, form run or head-to-head data for this meeting, so our pick stays on the favourite at short odds with low confidence: Veszprem HC to win, with Under 67 total goals as the secondary angle.

How we make our predictions

Our methodology
  1. 1

    Form and recent results

We start with each side’s recent results, home and away splits, scoring trends and head-to-head record.

  2. 2

    Line-ups, injuries and context

We search recent published sources for team news, injuries, suspensions and expected line-ups, plus schedule and what is at stake. If something is not public yet, the preview says so.

  3. 3

    Statistics and probabilities

We turn the evidence into probabilities for every outcome and, when odds are available, compare them with the market price at the time of writing.

  4. 4

    Pick and result recording

We publish one main pick with a confidence level and the time it was fixed. Picks are only written before kick-off, cannot change after it, and are graded automatically from the final score.

AI-assisted research

Previews marked “AI-assisted” are drafted by a language model. Before each match it gathers recent results and head-to-head records from our match database and searches current reporting on team news, injuries and odds. Automatic checks reject drafts with missing data or probabilities that do not add up, and only source links found during research are kept. Previews that pass these checks are published automatically under the author shown on the preview. Every pick is graded from the final score and counted in our track record.

Probability explained

A probability of 60% means that across 100 similar events we would expect the outcome about 60 times, and not about 40 times. Move the slider to see how the picture changes.

Confidence describes how strongly the available evidence supports a pick. Probability estimates how likely an outcome is. They are different measures.

Sports predictions and match analysis

We publish free match previews and predictions for the most followed games of the day. Every preview gives one main pick, a probability for each outcome and a confidence level, and every settled pick is graded automatically from the final score.

Sports we cover

Right now our predictions cover football, handball, basketball, ice hockey, CS2, volleyball, boxing and American football. Coverage follows the schedule, so the list changes through the season.

How each preview is built

Each preview starts from match data and recent published sources on form, team news and head-to-head results, then turns that evidence into probabilities and a single pick. Picks are fixed before kick-off and cannot change after it. The full process is explained in how we make our predictions.

A public track record

Wins, losses and void results all stay on the record. Our track record shows the hit rate, ROI at level stakes and every settled pick, so you can judge the results for yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Are the predictions free?

Yes. Every preview, pick and our full track record are free to read, with no sign-up. We are not a bookmaker and do not take bets.

When are new previews published?

Previews for the most-followed matches are usually published within 48 hours of kick-off, so they can take the latest team news into account. New matches are added to the schedule throughout the day.

Are previews updated after line-ups are announced?

An editor can revise a preview before kick-off when important news arrives, such as a confirmed line-up or a late injury. Each preview shows when its pick was fixed. Once the match starts, the pick and its odds are locked and can no longer be changed.

What does the confidence level mean?

Confidence, from 1 to 5, shows how strongly the analysis supports the pick. It is not a guarantee. The probability bar on each preview shows our estimated chance of every outcome, which is the better guide to how likely a result is.

How are cancelled matches counted?

If a match is cancelled or abandoned, the pick is graded as void. Void picks are listed in the results but do not count towards the hit rate or ROI, as if the stake had been returned.

What is a match review?

A match review is analysis published after a match has started. It is clearly labelled, is never presented as a prediction, and is not counted in the hit rate, ROI or results lists.

Where can I see all results?

Every settled pick is listed on our Track record page with its date, odds and outcome, along with the hit rate, ROI and how they are calculated.
